Golfing at Tullyglass

Set in beautiful wooded grounds on the outskirts of Ballymena, the Family owned Tullyglass House Hotel was originally built as a highly specified Gentleman’s Residence, and has a history dating back to the 19th Century. With these roots, the directors have carefully retained many of the erchitectural references to its past, and with highly trained and friendly staff the hotel has built up an enviable reputation for its luxurious facilities, relaxing atmosphere, standards of service, and wide range of high-quality food, all prepared by our team of chefs, using chiefly local produce. The hotel is centrally located in Northern Ireland, only 20 minutes from Belfast International Airport, 30 minutes from the George Best Belfast City Airport, and 5 minutes from Ballymena’s bus and railway stations. For those travelling by car, we have great connections to NI’s main arterial route network, wherever in Ireland you are travelling from.

OUR FACILITIES

  • Our facilities are fully flexible, whether it is a small management meeting (which can be held ‘in-camera’ in our stand alone, purpose-built facility), a meeting or conference, an exhibition, a catered function, or just a formal or informal meal, the hotel can accommodate your requirements.
  • The Clocktower Suite is one of Northern Ireland’s largest conference rooms, and is regularly used for events of between 800-1300. It can be configured as one large open space, or sub-divided into up to four individual meeting rooms, either for smaller seminars, or those requiring different spaces for discrete elements of a larger event.
  • The Corinthian Suite has recently been completely restyled and can cater for up to 200 delegates ‘theatre style’ but again can offer flexibility, a range of alternative conference layouts are available.
  • The Conservatory Suite offers a more relaxed environment, but is commonly set up in boardroom style for smaller groupings.
  • The Residence has been purpose-built and is a self-contained building within the grounds of the hotel. It includes a meeting room, bedrooms and stand-alone catering facilities, making it ideal for small high-level meetings, particularly those that require privacy.
  • Free super-fast WI-FI is available throughout the Hotel, offering up to 100mbps State-of-the-art conference equipment available within all of our conference rooms |Complimentary on-site car parking is available for all delegates (800 Spaces).

Our largest conference room, the Clocktower Suite can accommodate up to 850 seated at round tables or 1280 when used ‘theatre style’. The Suite is fully flexible through carefully designed acoustic partitioning which can separate the room into four flexible areas if required.

Our Corinthian Suite has just been restyled drawing its references from the Corinthian columns that featured in the original building. The Suite can cater for up to 200 guests or delegates ‘theatre style’ or round tables, 160 in ‘cabaret style’, or 50 ‘boardroom style’. It also has the advantage of its location beside our Conservatory Suite which can for example, be used as breakout room, a pre-meeting space for coffee and canapes or other refreshments as delegates gather, or simply a registration space prior to an event.

Our Conservatory Suite offers the ideal setting for a smaller informal event, or as noted, can be used as a space to service larger events, for example as a reception area, or somewhere to serve refreshments as the delegates gather. When used as a stand-alone venue, we suggest a comfortable number of delegates is around 20 in ‘boardroom style’ or up to 60 if the event is less formal. This Suite is renowned for its natural light and comfort when used informally.

The Residences has been developed by us in the grounds of Tullyglass House to accommodate a specific need that was identified from our business users.
It is self-contained, offers highly specified bedrooms (if required to allow for overnight stays) and has both meeting and catering facilities. This allows management, team building and other special meetings to be held ‘in camera’, away from the gaze of others. It is a comfortable size for groups of between two and 10 dependent upon the objectives of the meeting. We can arrange the space for either informal or formal usage.
